Halloween Treats........ Need your Help

Ok, well...I'm still working on the 55 Halloween treats I mentioned a week or so ago.......but I'm not liking the way they are turning out. I've spent so much time on them I hate to have them not be everything they can be (as the Army Says!). Anyway, If you would please take a look at this one and tell me what I could do to improve on it. It definitely needs something. Also remember though that I have 55 of these to do. So, the easier the fix the better! Thanks everyone I knew I could count on you!

Feeling Like Fall?

I know I keep reading about other demos complaining how hot it is where they are...but I'll admit it....I'm jealous. We had 90 degree weather for a week in mid July and ever since then it has been in the 60's. While some of you think you have had too much Summer, I don't think we had any at all! That's ok though, my favorite time of year is Fall. I love the cool air, the changing of the leaves, and what I call perfect football weather! You know, jeans and a sweatshirt, but no coat. What more can you ask for?

Well, since the weather has me thinking of falling leaves, I thought I would make a quick card using the Bright Blessings wheel and Falling Leaves stamp set. It was a pretty simple card to make. Just two layers, but I still think it turned out fine. I do wish I had moved the wheel up a bit more so more of it showed, but now I know for next time! So, what is your favorite season? Does it inspire you to stamp?

Wow!!! Katie is Turning 12.

I can't believe it......My sweet little girl is turning 12. (ok, maybe she isn't so sweet anymore....but she used to be!). Anyway, her birthday is coming up this month and we were talking about her party. I suggested a slumber party, but she wants to invite boys!!! (Where did that cute little girl go....Boys?????). So, as a compromise we settled on a late evening movie party. I saw a project someone had made on Splitcoast Stampers for a Twilight release party....and I loved the idea. I changed the colors, printed the words out from MDS, added a ticket in the middle and Katie's invites were born! The only thing that is retired on these is the pop on by ticket in the pocket. It's from the hostess set Comfort Food, but I figured it was too perfect not to use. So, would you come if you received one of these?

I'm so proud!

Back to School...Yet Again!

I know, most kids have been back in school for a while, but here, our Kindergarten students just started back yesterday. In the spirit of being neighborly, I made this card for my cutie patootie kindergarten child who lives next door. She wanted to give something to her teacher on the first day of school just like my kids did. I love this stamp set, Every Little Bit. It has a teeny tiny stamp for just about everything! If your looking for an all purpose stamp set, this is it! I just love the way the bright colors and this little bus turned out. What other stamps from this set could be used on this card?

Well, here they are. 55 Paper Flowers for Halloween treats. Now all I have to do is make the holders! I wanted to congratulate Barbara from Stamping with the Kamper Stamper! Thank Goodness for Long Weekends!!!

I'm always amazed how much I get done when I have a long weekend. Sometimes I could sit upstairs and stamp for hours. Labor Day was one of those weekends. We did get a few things done, like went out to dinner with a friend, took a quick road trip to a local Kinderfest (kids fair) and Corn Maze, and even did some laundry, but I also spent a ton of time stamping! It was awesome. I even got to play with some of my new toys. When the mini catalog was released I think I purchased just about everything in it! One of the things I bought was the Candy Wrapper Die. I figured now was as good a time as any to pull it out and play with it. I will admit it took me a little while to figure it out. The directions on the package are not the most helpful, but thanks to Meg Loven and her amazing video, I finally got the hang of it. This is the project I made. I also hadn't used the spider web folder yet, so i had to throw that in as well. Didn't this turn out super cute? I can just see red and white striped ones for Christmas.....this may become one of my favorite dies! What other things do you think you could make with this?
