Well, this was the one I made for her anyway. As I mentioned last week, she graduated from Eighth Grade last Friday. This was a rough year for us, and for a while, we weren't sure she was going to get her act together in time. I'm happy to report that she not only managed to move on to High School, but also brought home a grade card that we were amazed by. Needless to say, this stamp saying was perfect for her. Way to go Katie! We are so proud of you.

Another RAK to die for.....
Seriously boys...you should know by now I mean a Random Act of Kindness Card. This one is from Gloria Washek, another VC Rocker! Have you signed up yet? you are so running out of time. And trust me, this is one very active group you don't want to miss out on. Make sure you take a moment and sign up! Oh, and make sure you fill out the questionnaire they send you. It may end up in your SPAM box, so keep an eye out for it. It's the only way to join!
Anyway, I love the way these butterflies fill up the page. And they are so sparkly in person. Thank you again Gloria. It's so nice to open something that was in my mailbox and have it make me smile instead of grumble!

My Baby Girl is growing up...
Ok, she is definately not a baby anymore....she's taller than I am by two inches at least! But she is graduating from Eighth Grade today. She has grown up into such a great young lady, and I'm very proud of her!
Luckily I made this graduation card at a downline meeting a month or so ago. I never thought I would need a graduation stamp this early. We didn't graduate from Jr. High when I was a kid. I don't even think we had Kindergarten graduation.....but these kids sure do spend a lot of time in a graduation procession. Anyway, back to the card.
I loved the colors. Unfortunately they aren't the school colors....but hey, a get some creative license correct? I hope she enjoys it. I have another project in the works for her as well.....but you will have to wait until after graduation to get a glimpse at it. She and her best friend stalk my facebook and I don't want them to see it before it's time!

Seriously......
Ok, I have to admit it. I'm a sarcastic type of girl at heart. So, when I got last month's Paper Pumpkin from Stampin' Up! I was ecstatic. (Don't know what Paper Pumpkin is? It's a monthly subscription where a great box of card supplies and stamps shows up in your mailbox like magic and gives you new stuff to stamp with. For more information, click the link above!).
I know there were some people out there with a bit more delicate sensitivities than I possess that were slightly upset, but I believe this may have turned into one of my favorite stamp sets. For someone who is so excited by this set, I hadn't broken it in yet. Luckily, during my upline meeting on Sunday, we were given the opportunity to stamp with this one. Here is my Seriously card......and yes, to all you like minded Smart-Alecs out there....I do love your guts!

Check out this Great RAK!
Ok, now that I have the boys attention....(because to them a RAK is only one thing! :) ) here is an amazing Random Act of Kindness card I found in my mailbox over the weekend. Isn't it pretty. This is from Samantha Ovitt who is part of my VC (virtual convention) Rocks Group. This is a group that gets together every Spring through Fall for demos and non-demos alike who like to participate in convention type activities, but may not be able to attend. There are swaps, classes, Hotels, roomies, and even pool boys. If your interested, you better hurry, because registration ends May 31st!. For more information, click here.

Last day of school teacher gift!
So, school will be out next Friday. It's amazing my change of mindset between being a child and being a parent. I remember thinking that school lasted forever when I was going, but now that I'm the grown up....Now I think it's over way too early :). My kids most definately would disagree with me!
So, since school is almost over, Jay requested flowers for his teacher. "Not real ones mom, You can make her some." Glad the kid has confidence in me, but I wasn't so sure. Luckily I found simple instructions on how to make a flower from Blossom Punch. (Isn't the internet amazing!). So, with Jay's help picking out the colors, this is what I came up with.
I sure hope she likes it!

Wow....it's been a while!
Ok, time has seemed to have gotten away from me once again. I swear that I have been stamping and crafting, but to be honest, the majority of what I have been doing I can't even show you! In a short two months, I will be in Salt Lake City for the annual Stampin' Up! convention. This year will be even better because it is the 25th anniversary! So many demonstrators wanted to go, that the convention sold out and SU! had to find a way to cram a few more of us in there.....they managed to fit an additional 300 chairs! Anyway, before the convention starts, I am lucky enough to be attending the Late Night Stampers Pre-convention events. The BEST part? Not only do I get to attend, I got asked to be an instructor! I'm super excited and have been creating my heart out trying to make an awesome project to do at the stamp camps. Unfortunately though, I can't show it to you. If you want to see what I've been working on, you are just going to have to check out the LNS pre-convention events instead. While I think this year is sold out, there are a few people who can't attend, so if your very very lucky, you may be able to find a ticket. If not, I promise to show you what we made after the event is over. So, on that note, it's back to my stamping room to work a little more. I promise that I will get working on something soon that I can show you!
