Final Watercolored Roses....so easy a five year old could do it!
Are you tired of the watercolored roses yet? Me neither. My son really liked the technique as well. If he, at age 5 can create one (using the wrong side of the paper and everything) than you can too. Take a peek and let him know what a great job he has done!

You GO Little man! Too bad your far away. You could be playing with Solimar. She is my 4 year old daughter who is a FUTURE SU demonstrator...HAVE FUN!
ReplyDeleteKelly what a budding talent you have there!
ReplyDeleteDANG! You tell that Little Man that he has me beat! I've tried it and I can't seem to get it! Can he come over here and show me how to do it?
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful colors. This rose will look fabulous on a project. I've tried this on the stamp set Soft Summer, but can't wait to try it with my Manhattan set. Good job!

Kelly, I think it's awesome that you're teaching your son these skills! Later on he'll be able to use them in school projects, just as my two boys have done! Great idea to scribble the ink from markers onto a palette to pick up from--instead of reinkers!!!

Man did I fall behind on your blog!! You have been stampin like crazy lately...or I've just been out of the loop to long..maybe both! Do you have to make it look so easy!! Mine are still looking not right with this technique...maybe I should have my 5 year old give it a go! good idea! lol
ReplyDeleteWow! How beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat Job Jay! Your rose is AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteWell Jay, you've accomplished what a lot of us still are learning. Great job on your rose! I also know you shared your rose with Susan; what a kind thing to do! You truly fit into the Late Night Stamper mind set!
