Royal Blog Tour......Won't you be my Fur-Ever Friend?

I can't believe it is finally here. The Royal Blog tour only comes around every once in a while, and it seems like I've been waiting for it "Fur-Ever"!! In case you haven't guessed, my stamp set for this tour is"Fur-ever Friends". This set holds a special place in my heart since it features a Scotty Dog (Scottish Terrier). My first pet, and the one that I grew up with was a Scotty named Dundee. We lost her years ago, but she will always hold a special place in my heart.

Ok, enough of me chit chatting! You came for the projects, so lets get to it!
My First project is a Bag Tag. For those of you who don't know...right now I am in England for the second annual European Stampin' Up! Convention. While the convention isn't as big as the one in Salt Lake, it is still very easy to switch bags with someone (since they all look alike!). Well, I knew I needed a way to mark my bag, so I figured I would kill two birds with one stone....then I remembered I had finally recieved an order of Shrinky Dinks, so I figured I would play with those as well! Hopefully I won't have a problem finding my bag with this cutie attached!

The second project was inspired by Kim over at Paper Punch Addiction. The little punch fire hydrant just went so well with the doggie, how could I resist? I also used my new favorite color combination.....Cherry Cobbler and Black! I especially like the way the Word Play stamp set compliments Friends Furever! You can almost see the little dog's eyes growing wide at his Big Wish come true!

Finally, my last project is a treat holder for my two dogs. I have to say, this was much harder than it looked in my head. The top of the fire hydrant is half of a styrofoam ball, the body is made out of a slim jim container and the two spouts on the sides are from a TP tube. The sign was probably the most fun to make......There is just something so cool about seeing the shrinky dink plastic melt and curl. Made me feel like a kid again!

Well, that is it for my castle, but I know you are going to love what's next!

  27. Hi Kelly

It was 'fabulous' to meet up with you again this weekend and spend time with you. It was really kind of you and Sara to invite us to join you last night for your shoebox swap. I hope all goes well with you and your weight loss. I have a date for me to see the consultant 20th Dec this year so I imagine I will be going in just after Christmas.

Look forward to speaking to you soon
