Punch Art Popcorn

If you visited my blog yesterday, you saw the treat containers I made using the adorable Popcorn holder. I know I've seen punch art popcorn somewhere, but of course when I needed it I couldn't find it, so I went ahead and made my own. If you have any need for punch art popcorn, here are the directions :)

These are the punch pieces you need

You can use any colors you want...Red and White would be cute too. Katie's Party was all Melon Mambo and Basic Black though.

To trim the edges, just cut from the top corner to the first place that the two color word window punches meet. Was that clear as mud? Hopefully the picture helps.

I sponged the edges of the popcorn with So Saffron Ink.

All Done!

  2. That is being very creative. Another punch you could have used is the small cloud punch. It is an older punch and I'm not sure that it is still available. Years ago when punches were first out and popular, I made popcorn using this punch. You did an excellent job.
