This is absolutely crazy. I have managed to blog 157 times since January. My goal was to do it every day, and I think I am pretty darn close. Sometimes I wonder if there is even anyone out there reading my blog. Then out of the blue I get a comment like the one I recieved a couple of days ago from Melissa "your blog's one of the ones that inspired me to start one." I didn't even know Melissa followed my blog. Anyway, thank you Melissa and everyone out there who takes the time to check out my ramblings. I appreciate your support!
Now, on to a card.
This card was rolling around in my head ever since I saw the June edition of Technique Junkies. If you haven't taken the time to check out this newsletter run by Pat Huntoon you really owe it to yourself to go have a look. This is the Pyramid technique, with of course my own twist. I will say that I liked it much better in my head, but the more I look at it, the more it grows on me. I used all black and white embossing powder and card stock for this one. I then trimmed and layers each piece on top of the next. This uses the Baroque Motifs stamp set (I'm so glad it will be here for another whole year!). I was thinking of using this for an Ebony and Ivory swap I am doing on VCRocks, but I decided against it. I'll show you the one thatI ended up using for the swap later on this week. Ok, enough of my Yapping...here is my creation!
I love this card. Its definitely a WOW! Girl I love following your blog and our banter back and forth...we have so much fun...
