Lately we have had a huge influx of Elementary age kids move into our neighborhood. You may not think that is such a big deal, but for the past 3 years my daughter has been only one of 3 kids over the age of 6 living here. She is ecstatic for the company. This past weekend was a rainy dreary weekend, so my ever friendly daughter invited them all (yes ALL) over to our house. In case you are wondering what all means.....there were 9 of them. They (aka Katie) decided it would be nice if they could make Mother's Day cards. I was in the middle of something else, so after much wheeling and dealing she finally convinced me that they would be very responsible with my stuff. Ok, I took a deep breath and said go ahead. Believe it or not they were wonderful. After they were done (about 4 hours later) my stamp room was even cleaner than I had left it. Katie made sure everyone knew the rules (how to clean a stamp, which drawers and papers were off limit, and where everything went) and she helped them make cards. She even asked for the camera so she could take pictures (I definitely need to teach her how to use the flash!). Anyway, I promised them I would post them on my blog. So, if you wouldn't mind, please leave a friendly comment for them. I know they will be thrilled!
