Kimberly Van Diepen spoke during my second my second class block. She gave us some great ideas about holding opportunity nights. Recruiting and workshops were the hot topic for the entire convention. Kimberly's advise was to never pre-judge a customer. Everyone can benefit from the SU! opportunity. She also encouraged us to hand out sample cards with the recruit packet and a letter telling your stoy to inspire our customers. She also gave us a great idea for a "game" to play with customers at either the opportunity night or during a workshop. For every question a guest asks, give them a card (these can either be playing cards or actual handmade cards. What a great way to use all those swaps!). At the end of the night the person with the most cards wins.
